Patrick Rorke was born in Morija on December 17, 1953. With a career spanning across the globe, he is renowned for his diverse body of work. Notable projects include the iconic Sun Screens at the Constitutional Court in Johannesburg, as well as mosaics and mixed media installations at locations such as the New Metro Mall taxi rank and Nord Street Shopping Mall. Rorke's artistic journey has taken him to exhibitions in Lesotho, South Africa, the USA, and Europe, where his work has garnered international acclaim. Currently, he is spearheading the development of the Maloaaleng Artist's Residency in Morija; aiming to foster a global community of artists.
